    Bon voyage literally means good journey in French, and it has been borrowed into English as the go-to farewell for holidays, cruises and big moves abroad. Above the front door it gives every departure a sense of occasion, whether it is a weekend away or a gap year. It also suits a travel-themed spare room, a hallway lined with maps or a boot room where the suitcases live. It makes a thoughtful leaving present for a friend emigrating, a colleague setting off on sabbatical, or a couple about to take a honeymoon. Light Blue or Smooth Blue suggests sea and sky, while Gold feels glamorous.
