Reach for the roof of the Alps with this Col de l'Iseran D902 Route Sign, a tribute to one of Europe's highest paved road passes.
The Col de l'Iseran climbs to 2,764m between Val d'Isère and Bonneval-sur-Arc, and is often described as the highest paved pass in the Alps. The road is closed for much of the year by snow, so riders have only a short summer window to tackle it. In 2019 a Tour de France stage was stopped near the summit after a hailstorm and landslide blocked the descent, leaving Egan Bernal in yellow. Thin air near the top makes every pedal stroke feel harder than the gradient suggests.
Go Clean for a fresh road-sign look, or Rusted for printed wear that looks like years on a mountainside. There are four upright sizes, A6, A5, A4 and A3, measuring 10.5 × 14.8cm, 21 × 14.8cm, 28.3 × 19.7cm and 42 × 30.5cm. It is a decorative piece based on mountain road signs, perfect for a garage, home gym or cycling room.
Next on the list could be the Col de la Bonette D64 Route Sign, Passo Gavia Route Sign or Col du Galibier D902 Route Sign; the full range is in our Tour de France signs.
