    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Create a sign that looks as though it belongs on a real street with this classic custom street sign, a versatile gift for new homes, families and friends.

Britain's road signs were redesigned in the 1960s by Jock Kinneir and Margaret Calvert, whose clear Transport lettering still guides drivers today, and street name plates have their own long local traditions. This sign lets you borrow that familiar look for any wording you like. Use it for a house name, a family surname, a room name, a business nickname or an inside joke, and hang it on a garden wall, a bedroom door or above a home bar.

Four sizes are listed: 20 × 10cm, 28.3 × 10cm, 40.5 × 14.1cm and 45.7 × 15.2cm. Colour styles are green, brown, red, black, yellow and blue, each in a clean or rusty version. The design is dye-sublimation printed onto metal and comes with pre-drilled mounting holes, and the rusty styles use a printed rust-effect finish rather than real corrosion. Enter your wording in the text box on the product page.

Others worth a look are the 24 colour styles street, railway station and handcrafted multi-plate street signs; the full range is in UK street signs.
