    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Build a freestanding signpost for a desk, a shelf or a new home with this handcrafted multi-plate street sign, a lovely gift for families, friends and colleagues.

Fingerposts with arms pointing in several directions have guided travellers along British roads since the late 17th century, and many traditional examples still stand in country villages. This tabletop version borrows the same idea, so each plate can point to a person, a place or a favourite memory. Use it to show where family members live, to list the names in a household, or to mark a desk with a team in-joke. It also makes a fun leaving present, listing the places a colleague has worked.

There are one, two, three or four plates, and the finished height changes with the number chosen. Twenty-three colours are listed, from white, black, silver and gold to pine green, smooth blue and purple. The design is double-sided, and the product page has a text field for up to 15 characters of wording.

You might also like the railway station, 24 colour styles street and classic custom street signs, and there are more in our UK street signs.

Another option is a custom street sign carrying a name or phrase you supply.
