    Give a house, a shed or a room the look of an old station platform with this custom railway station sign, a nostalgic gift for train enthusiasts and model railway builders.

    Station nameboards have long been part of the romance of rail travel. In the years after nationalisation in 1948, British Railways gave each region its own colour, from the green of the Southern to the maroon of the London Midland and the brown of the Western, and enthusiasts still collect the old signs today. This design borrows that platform style for any wording. It suits a garden office, a train lover's den, a model railway layout or the front of a beach hut named after a favourite stop.

    Two sizes are listed, 19.7 × 5.1cm and 27.7 × 6.9cm, with twenty background colours ranging from black, navy and burgundy to teal, tan, magenta and white. It is dye-sublimation printed on 0.5mm aluminium with rounded corners and pre-drilled mounting holes, and the product page has a box for the station wording.
