Royal pageantry inspires this Buckingham Palace sign. It makes a regal gift for royal watchers, history fans and anyone who has watched the Changing of the Guard.
Buckingham Palace began life in 1703 as Buckingham House, a town house for the Duke of Buckingham. King George III bought it in 1761, and Queen Victoria became the first monarch to live there when she moved in in 1837. The palace has 775 rooms, including 19 State Rooms that open to visitors in the summer. The Changing of the Guard takes place on the forecourt, the royal family gathers on the famous balcony for celebrations, and the Victoria Memorial stands at the end of The Mall.
There is a Clean style and a Rusted style. For a shelf, A6 (10.5 × 14.8cm) or A5 (21 × 14.8cm) works well; for a wall, try A4 (28.3 × 19.7cm) or A3 (42 × 30.5cm). It looks good propped on a mantelpiece or fixed to a wall.
