Royal processions and the red road to the palace inspire this The Mall sign, a grand gift for royal watchers and London lovers.
The Mall runs from Admiralty Arch, near Trafalgar Square, to Buckingham Palace. It was redesigned in the early 20th century by Sir Aston Webb as a ceremonial route, together with the Victoria Memorial and Admiralty Arch, and its distinctive red surface gives the effect of a giant red carpet. The name comes from pall-mall, a game similar to croquet once played nearby. Trooping the Colour and state processions pass along it, the London Marathon finishes here, and St James's Park lines its southern side. The road is closed to traffic on Sundays and public holidays, making it a lovely place to stroll.
There is a Clean style and a Rusted style. The smallest, A6, is 10.5 × 14.8cm, and the A3 version reaches 42 × 30.5cm, with A5 (21 × 14.8cm) and A4 (28.3 × 19.7cm) in between. Display it in a snug, a hallway or above a home bar.
Group it with the Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Houses of Parliament signs, or see every design in our UK location signs.
There is also a custom street sign option for a house name, room name or private joke.
