Celebrate one of the steepest climbs near Briançon with this Col du Granon D234 Route Sign in a square format.
After its first Tour de France appearance in 1986, the Granon was left off the route for 36 years, partly because the narrow road and small summit made it hard to host a stage finish. When the race came back in 2022, it produced one of the most dramatic days of that year's Tour. The road has few hairpins and long, straight, steep ramps, so there is little chance to recover. At the top, old military buildings and wide views over the Écrins reward the effort.
It is the square edition, useful where a long or upright sign would not fit the space. Go Clean for a fresh road-sign look, or Rusted for printed wear that looks like years on a mountainside. Mount it near the turbo, by the front door or in a home office as a metal sign; it is a decorative piece inspired by road signs.
Also in the range are the Col du Télégraphe D902 Route Sign – Square, Col du Glandon D927 Route Sign – Square and Col d'Izoard D902 Route Sign – Square, plus plenty more sports signs.
