Sky Blue pride shines through this Coventry Phoenix Way street sign, a thoughtful gift for City supporters and anyone with roots in the West Midlands.
The phoenix has long stood for Coventry's rebirth after the city centre was devastated in the Blitz of November 1940, and Phoenix Way carries that name across the north of the city. Coventry City, nicknamed the Sky Blues, have played at their arena in the north of Coventry since 2005, after more than 80 years at Highfield Road. The club's finest hour came in 1987, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur 3–2 in the FA Cup final. The arena also staged football matches during the London 2012 Olympics.
There are four formats, from a compact A6 of 10.5 × 14.8cm to a bold A3 of 42 × 30.5cm; A5 is 21 × 14.8cm and A4 is 28.3 × 19.7cm. Select the Clean or the Rusted style. Display it in a snug, a hallway or above a home bar.
For a themed set, look at the Birmingham Cattell Road, Derby Royal Way or Leicester Filbert Way sign, or visit the football signs collection.
