    Dead-end warnings appear at the mouth of streets with no through route, and in the UK the equivalent is the blue No Through Road sign, with a white upright topped by a short red bar. The phrase has also become a favourite in horror stories, where a wrong turn down a lonely lane is rarely a good idea, which is why this sign also features in our Halloween range. Either way, it raises a smile when hung at the end of a corridor or above a garage workbench.
