    Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland and sits on the Chesapeake Bay. During the War of 1812, the bombardment of Fort McHenry inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words of The Star-Spangled Banner. The Inner Harbor is home to the National Aquarium, and steamed blue crabs seasoned with Old Bay are a local tradition. Edgar Allan Poe is buried in the city, and the NFL's Ravens are named after his famous poem. Babe Ruth was born there, and Oriole Park at Camden Yards is close to his birthplace.
