    Paris's iron landmark gets its own pointer on this Eiffel Tower distance street sign. It is a romantic choice for couples who got engaged in the city, Francophiles and anyone counting down to their next trip.

    The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel's company for the 1889 World's Fair, held to mark the centenary of the French Revolution. Many Parisian artists protested against it at first, yet it became the defining symbol of France. At about 330 metres, it was the tallest structure in the world until New York's Chrysler Building overtook it in 1930. Visitors can climb the stairs or ride lifts to three levels, and every evening it sparkles with thousands of lights for a few minutes each hour. It stands on the Champ de Mars beside the Seine.

    Six colours (green, brown, red, black, yellow and blue) each come Clean or Rusty, giving twelve combinations. The small version measures 20 × 10cm, the medium 28.3 × 10cm, the large 40.5 × 14.1cm and the XL 45.7 × 15.2cm. On the product page you can type a distance, or an address so the distance can be worked out, and say whether you want miles or km.
