    A LITTLE PIECE OF
    SOMEWHERE SPECIAL.

Lady Liberty raises her torch on this Statue of Liberty distance street sign, a long signpost-style plaque for New York fans, history lovers and families with roots that passed through the harbour.

The Statue of Liberty stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor and was a gift from the people of France, dedicated in 1886. Sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed the figure, while Gustave Eiffel engineered its internal iron framework. Its copper skin has turned green with age. For millions of immigrants arriving at nearby Ellis Island, the statue was the first great sight of America. Visitors can climb to the crown, and the tablet in her left hand bears the date of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776.

Colour options are green, brown, red, black, yellow and blue, and every one can be Clean or Rusty. The small version measures 20 × 10cm, the medium 28.3 × 10cm, the large 40.5 × 14.1cm and the XL 45.7 × 15.2cm. A box on the product page takes either the distance itself or an address to calculate it from; add miles or km.

Others worth a look are the New York, Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Rushmore signs; the full range is in landmark location signs.

For a sign with your own wording, a custom street sign is available as well.
