    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Flame-shaped towers, an ancient walled city and the shore of the Caspian Sea come together in this Baku map art print, drawn as bold graphic art. A striking gift for Azerbaijanis and adventurous travellers.

Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan and lies below sea level on the shore of the Caspian Sea, making it one of the lowest capital cities in the world. Its walled Old City, with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000. The three Flame Towers light up the skyline at night. The flowing Heydar Aliyev Center was designed by Zaha Hadid. An oil boom in the late 19th century made the city rich, and a Formula One race now runs through its streets.

Five sizes cover most walls: A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1. Eighteen colour treatments, among them Noir, Blueprint and Heatwave, change the mood completely. Decorative use only, not for wayfinding.

You might also like the Tbilisi map print, Tehran map print and Istanbul map print, all part of our Asia map prints.
