    For trekkers who have made the walk, or dream of it, this Everest Base Camp map art print maps the high valleys of the Khumbu as minimal graphic art. It turns a once-in-a-lifetime journey into something you see every day.

    South Base Camp, on the Nepal side, lies at roughly 5,300 metres at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. Most trekkers start with a flight into the small mountain airstrip at Lukla, then walk for over a week through Sherpa villages such as Namche Bazaar, past the monastery at Tengboche, acclimatising as they climb. The route runs through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Above it all rises Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth at 8,849 metres, first climbed by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953.
