Bring a Pyrenean summit finish home with this Luz Ardiden D12 Route Sign, made for fans of the Tour's mountain stages.
The road to Luz Ardiden climbs from the town of Luz-Saint-Sauveur to a ski station high above the Gavarnie valley, with stacks of hairpins that can be seen from far below. It first hosted a Tour de France stage finish in 1985, won by Pedro Delgado, and Samuel Sánchez won here in 2011. Because it begins in the same town as the western ascent of the Tourmalet, riders based in Luz often climb both in a single trip. The final kilometres are open, exposed and often windy.
Choose from A6 at 10.5 × 14.8cm up to A3 at 42 × 30.5cm, with A5 (21 × 14.8cm) and A4 (28.3 × 19.7cm) in between. Choose Clean for crisp colours or Rusted, which has a rust effect printed onto the surface. It suits a pain cave, a garage, a study or a wall of ride memories, as decorative art based on road signage.
Next on the list could be the Col du Tourmalet D918 Route Sign, Col d'Aubisque D918 Route Sign or Col du Galibier D902 Route Sign; the full range is in our travel gifts.
