    The Motor City spirit drives this Detroit distance street sign. It is a great gift for car enthusiasts, Motown fans and Michiganders everywhere.

    Detroit, in Michigan, is known as the Motor City. Henry Ford's moving assembly line made the Model T affordable, and the city became home to Ford, General Motors and Chrysler. In 1959 Berry Gordy founded Motown Records there, launching the careers of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and the Supremes, and many more. The Detroit Institute of Arts is famous for Diego Rivera's industry murals. Oddly, the city sits directly north of Canada, which lies across the Detroit River in Windsor, Ontario.

    Sizes start at 20 × 10cm and rise through 28.3 × 10cm and 40.5 × 14.1cm to 45.7 × 15.2cm. Style options are Clean and Rusted, and both suit the long street-sign shape.
