    Glittering spires and royal splendour inspire this Grand Palace distance street sign. It makes a dazzling keepsake for Thailand lovers and anyone who has visited the heart of old Bangkok.

    The Grand Palace in Bangkok was established in 1782 by King Rama I, when he moved the capital to the east bank of the Chao Phraya River. For more than a century it was the home of the kings of Siam, and it is still used for royal ceremonies today. Within its walls stands Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred image in Thailand. The buildings are covered in gold leaf, mirrored tiles and colourful mosaics. Visitors must cover their shoulders and knees.

    Go compact at 20 × 10cm or 28.3 × 10cm, or bigger at 40.5 × 14.1cm or 45.7 × 15.2cm. Colour options are green, brown, red, black, yellow and blue, and every one can be Clean or Rusty.
