Bring a little West End glamour home with this Regent Street Metal Sign, inspired by one of London's grandest shopping streets.
Regent Street was laid out by the architect John Nash in the early nineteenth century as a grand route linking Regent's Park with St James's, and it is named after the Prince Regent, later George IV. Its sweeping curve near Piccadilly Circus is lined with elegant stone buildings, and its Christmas lights have drawn crowds since the 1950s. For many visitors it is the first taste of London shopping.
The Regent Street wording is printed as shown. Sizes are A6 (10.5 × 14.8cm), A5 (21 × 14.8cm), A4 (28.3 × 19.7cm) and A3 (42 × 30.5cm), in Clean or printed Rusted style.
This decorative sign is not an original street nameplate. It is a great souvenir for Londoners who have moved away or for anyone who loves a day out in the West End, from window shopping to a matinee in theatreland.
