    Gaudí's extraordinary basilica, still rising over Barcelona, is the subject of this Sagrada Família map art print. Drawn as fine graphic art, it is a special gift for architecture lovers and anyone who has stood beneath its towers.

    Construction of the Sagrada Família began in 1882, and Antoni Gaudí took over the project the following year, devoting the rest of his life to it. He is buried in its crypt. The Nativity Facade and the crypt are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site covering Gaudí's works. Pope Benedict XVI consecrated it as a basilica in 2010. Inside, columns branch like trees and stained glass fills the nave with colour. When its central Tower of Jesus Christ is finished, it is set to be the tallest church in the world.
