    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Neon, crowds and perfect order: this Shibuya Crossing map art print captures one of Tokyo's most electric neighbourhoods as a clean, graphic map. It is a great pick for anyone who has been swept across the junction or is counting the days until a trip to Japan.

The scramble crossing sits outside Shibuya Station, where all vehicle traffic stops at once and pedestrians stream across from all directions, including diagonally. At busy times thousands of people cross in a single change of the lights, and it is often described as the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. Next to the station is the bronze statue of Hachikō, the loyal Akita dog who waited there for his owner for years after the man's death, and it remains a favourite meeting point. The crossing also appeared in the film Lost in Translation.

It is offered in A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1, with 18 palettes to match a room, for instance Patina, Neon or Terracotta. Think of it as a decorative print and not a map to navigate by.

Pair it with our Mount Fuji map print, Kyoto map print or Osaka map print, or browse the full set of Asia map prints.
