    Shit happens has been a catchphrase since the 1980s, and Forrest Gump famously gave it a comic origin story in the 1994 film when he steps in something while running across America. It is the perfect response to spilled coffee, missed trains and plans that fall apart. Hang it above a bathroom, a garage, a kitchen or a home office. It makes a funny gift for a friend going through a rough patch, a stoic dad, a nurse who has seen it all, or anyone with a dark sense of humour. It is for adults only. Brown is the cheeky choice, while Black keeps it subtle.

    The colour list has 23 entries, among them Magenta, Dark Blue, Olive Green and White. The sign is 3D printed and balances on top of a door frame, or can be shown on a shelf. There are three sizes, 20cm, 30cm and 38.5cm.
