      Ski patrollers and snowboard patrollers are the first responders of the mountain. They open runs in the morning, set up fences and warning markers, carry out avalanche control on some resorts and sweep the slopes at closing time. Many patrollers ride boards themselves, and the sight of a red or orange jacket on a snowboard is a familiar one on the piste. This design celebrates that work and the riders who rely on it.
