A leafy corner of the West End inspires this Soho Square sign. It makes a stylish gift for film and media workers, music lovers and Londoners with a soft spot for Soho.
Soho Square was laid out in the 1680s and is one of the oldest squares in London's West End. A weathered statue of King Charles II stands in its gardens beside a quirky half-timbered gardener's hut. The surrounding buildings have long housed film, music and media companies, and Paul McCartney's business has offices on the square. A bench in the gardens remembers singer Kirsty MacColl, who wrote the song Soho Square. On sunny days office workers fill the lawns at lunchtime, and the square sits just a few steps from the bustle of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
