Mountains, mile-high air and endless trails sum up this Welcome to Colorado sign. "Welcome to Colorado" and "The Centennial State" appear in white lettering on a green panel styled like a highway marker, framed with a thin white keyline. Its wording is fixed as shown.
Colorado joined the Union in 1876, a hundred years after the Declaration of Independence, which is where the nickname comes from. Denver, the capital, is known as the Mile High City because it sits about a mile above sea level. The Rocky Mountains run through the middle of the state, the view from Pikes Peak inspired the song "America the Beautiful", and Mesa Verde protects ancient cliff dwellings.
Hang it in a ski locker room, a hallway or a garage full of bikes. Choose Clean for sharp, new-looking colour, or Rusted for a printed aged surface instead of real corrosion. It is a decorative sign, not an official one.
