    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Golden fields and wide skies are what most people picture, and this Welcome to Kansas sign keeps the message simple: "Welcome to Kansas" over "The Sunflower State" in white capitals on a green panel with a fine white border. The text is fixed as pictured.

The wild sunflower is the official state flower, and in late summer whole fields of them turn the countryside yellow. Kansas sits right in the middle of the country, with the geographic centre of the contiguous United States marked near the town of Lebanon. Topeka is the state capital and Wichita the largest city, and Dodge City still trades on its Wild West past. Fans of The Wizard of Oz will know which famous fictional farm girl came from here.

It looks good in a kitchen, a farmhouse-style hallway or a garage. Clean keeps everything crisp; Rusted adds a printed rust-effect finish with a dusty, back-road character. The sign is decorative and is not an official or reclaimed state marker.

    • Sizes: A6 - 10.5 x 14.8 cm, A5 - 21 x 14.8 cm, A4 - 28.3 x 19.7 cm or A3 - 42 x 30.5 cm, each in a Clean or Rusted style

Plains neighbours include Nebraska, Missouri and Oklahoma, and every state is gathered in our US state signs collection.
