    Go Big Red. This Welcome to Nebraska sign features "Welcome to Nebraska" and "The Cornhusker State" in white capitals on a green road-sign-style panel with a slim white keyline, and the wording is fixed as pictured.

    Before machines took over, corn was husked by hand across the state's farms, and the University of Nebraska named its football team the Cornhuskers. Lincoln is the state capital, and Nebraska has the only single-chamber, nonpartisan state legislature in the country.
