    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Cheese, lakes and fiercely loyal sports fans: Wisconsin pride is hard to miss, and this Welcome to Wisconsin sign puts it on the wall. White lettering reads "Welcome to Wisconsin" and "The Badger State" on a green, highway-style panel with a slim white border, in a fixed design.

The badger nickname goes back to lead miners in the 1800s who were said to dig into the hillsides like badgers. Today the sign suits people from Madison, the state capital, or Milwaukee, Green Bay fans wherever they live, and anyone who has spent a summer at a lake cabin up north or on the shores of Lake Michigan.

It looks at home in a den, a games room, a cabin-style kitchen or above the TV on match day. The metal sign is waterproof. Clean gives a fresher appearance, while Rusted prints an aged, rust-effect finish. It is a decorative reproduction, not an official or reclaimed sign.

    • Sizes: A6 - 10.5 x 14.8 cm, A5 - 21 x 14.8 cm, A4 - 28.3 x 19.7 cm or A3 - 42 x 30.5 cm, each in a Clean or Rusted style

Round out the upper Midwest with Minnesota, Michigan or Illinois, or explore all of our US state welcome signs.
