    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

The birthplace of American independence, and the home of the cheesesteak, is the subject of this Philadelphia map art print. Its grid of streets is drawn as bold graphic art, a great gift for Philadelphians.

Philadelphia was founded in 1682 by William Penn, who laid it out on one of the first planned grids in America. The Declaration of Independence was signed at Independence Hall in 1776, and the US Constitution was drafted there in 1787. The cracked Liberty Bell is displayed nearby. Visitors run up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art like Rocky Balboa, and Reading Terminal Market is a favourite place to try a cheesesteak. Elfreth's Alley is one of the oldest residential streets in the country.

Size options are A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1; colour comes in 18 variations including Ruby, Patina and Neon. Please note it is intended as art and not for navigation.

Nearby, and in the shop, are the Boston map print, the New York City map print and the Baltimore map print. See every design in North America map prints.
