    ABOUT THIS GIFT.

Vaults, rolls and city rooftops inspire this freerunning street sign, a fun gift for traceurs, gymnasts and anyone who sees the street as a playground.

Parkour grew out of the Paris suburbs of Lisses and Évry in the late 1980s, where David Belle, Sébastien Foucan and their friends trained on walls, rails and concrete. The word freerunning was coined for Foucan in the 2003 documentary Jump London. Foucan later starred in the opening chase of the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale, and the international gymnastics federation has since added parkour as a discipline. Practitioners focus on moving efficiently and creatively through any environment. Training often starts with safe landings and rolls, and many towns now have dedicated parkour parks with walls, bars and boxes to practise on.

Twelve colour options are listed, among them light blue, light green, grey, purple and pink, as well as black, blue, brown, green, orange, red and yellow. Sizes: 20 × 10cm, 28.3 × 10cm, 40.5 × 14.1cm and 45.7 × 15.2cm.

Pair it with the Skateboarding, Snowboarding or Cheerleader sign, or browse our sports street signs.

There is also a custom street sign option for a house name, room name or private joke.
